More Holmes Junk

Had problems with the HM3600 model and returned it for the HM3500 as it was the only model in stock. Unit cycles on and off constantly, much too often. Also creates snow on TV when it goes on and off. A neighbor has the same complaint. On top of that when the unit is on my electronic electric blanket malfunctions (reads E and turns off).
Help - Will Honda or some quality manufacturer start making humidifiers? It shouldn't be that hard to do. Unit also runs non-stop when empty. Terrible if you are away and forget to turn off.
