This is exactly what happened when I purchased my great performance
BLIZZARD fans. Several years ago, the northeastern United States was embroiled in the midst of a heatwave, with sweltering temperatures maintaining an average of ninety-eight degrees over a three week period!
First, we purchased an air conditioning unit for the master bedroom, with the entire family doing some intense bonding in this one room. Ha! I knew that this would never work for long though! easily fit on any flat surface like a desktop, table top or counter top. My son placed his fan atop his chest of drawers, pointing toward the middle of his bed. He set the fan to the oscillating position, affording him delightful sweeps of cool, cool air throughout the night.
Holmes has designed this fan with the highest level of comfort in mind. The
blades are short and rounded and the fan
design is compact. It is these features that significantly improved air circulation throughout each room, throughout the house.

adjustable-tilt fan head for directing airflow exactly where you need it! My daughter placed her
BLIZZARD on the table nearest the computer, where she spent a great deal of her waking hours. She opened several windows for cross ventilation and pointed the fan in an upward tilt, providing an intense cooling effect.
Since there are
three speed settings the medium speed selection is just right for days when the room air is warm yet not intensely uncomfortable. It tends to be exactly what is needed without having a chill in the air and yet sufficient enough that it won't change the air temperature drastically.
The lowest speed is ideal for keeping youngsters and older babies comfortable while they sleep peacefully.
Although my family has not used this next feature, the possibility for wall mounting is available. It is interesting to note, however, that the
