2005 Honda Odyssey

While we really like the 8 passenger set up for our 5 kids, we have been plagued with one issue after another with this van. We are on our second Sienna with barely an issue with either 2000 CE and 2004 LE. We went with the EX-L in Jan '05 because of the seating configuration and amenities (leather, DVD, airbags, dual power door, etc) that would have put us in the XLE had we purchased another Sienna, and the 2005 Chrysler's were just hitting the streets. I wish we had a do-over, because the XLE would have been worth any extra expense. From faulty air-bag sensors, brake issues, and power steering problems to squeaking and rattling windows, sliding door seal problems, and more, this van has had more items needing service than the last three vans we have had combined (the first was a '96 Villager). And they had 200K miles vs only 30K for the Odyssey. We had done our homework before buying the Odyssey, most of the reviews in numerous publications were glowing as they are today, but reality is far from the reputation in our experience. This was our first, and I have to say, last, purchase of a Honda.
