Great Suction Power for Inexpensive Vacuum

My $300 Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner needed a new motor and it was not worth having repaired. I researched Vacuum Cleaners for two weeks and the Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright Vacuum kept coming up as highly recommended. I was not really sure because I thought that this vacuum did not cost enough to be as good as the reviews said it was. In the end. I decided to purchase it online, It cost $59.00 and I got free shipping so it was a real deal. I thought even if it did not live up to the reviews, I had not wasted that much money. I was amazed at the suction power of this vacuum. It picked up dirt and pet hair as well as my $300 old vacuum. Now this vacuum is not real pretty to look at and it does not seem to be really well made. I think it is made in Mexico. However, whatever it lacks in looks and materials, it makes up for in suction, which is why I need a vacuum. I don't really care a lot about the attachments but they do not get in the way when you vacuum, which is a concern for many vacuums. I can't tell you how it will hold up after I have used it for a year but if it only lasted for a year, it would still be well worth the money. I am very satisfied. The only thing that really irritated me is that the cord comes out of the vacuum in the center bottom back and it does get in your way when vacuuming. I simply bring it up and hold it in my hand next to the handle and this works fine. Well worth your money. I would definitely recommend, especially if you want a vacuum that has great suction and does not cost hundreds of dollars.
