Very Best PDA / GPS Navigator

Date of Review:  Jun 12, 2008
The Bottom Line: Very powerful / lots of features / easy to use
Review: I just love my PDA. I used to have a Palm V and this is like driving a sports car. The amount memory available with the internal memory and SD cards, I have over 2 Gbs.

I love the palm GPS navigator 5 that uses the Tom Tom software. I love...

Palm T/X More Than Meets My Needs

Date of Review:  May 11, 2006
The Bottom Line: Recommended. Good device, well made and with a lot of functionality.
Review: I purchased the T/X around Christmas 2005 to replace an old Handspring Visor. I've been very pleased with this device. It's sturdy but still skinny enough for easy handling. I think the color display is excellent and I like being able to toggle...

NOT a true TFT screen

Date of Review:  Oct 17, 2007
Review: If anyone thinks they are getting a real TFT (Transflective) screen with the Palm TX, think again. Personally I think there should be a class-action lawsuit against Palm for advertising it on their website as having a 'TFT screen'. It's absolute...

You don't have to be a professional to have a PDA

Date of Review:  Jan 15, 2008
The Bottom Line: T/X is good for the professional/student but a little much for the non-professional/student if it's just used for contacts and scheduling. It has a nice easy to read screen.
Review: I started with Palm handspring devices over 6 years ago and have worked my way up through the ranks to the T/X. (The T/X is my fifth device). I must say I still own but no longer use or like the Treo 650- I went back to my Motorola Razr and Tungsten...

great toy with quirks

Date of Review:  Dec 22, 2005
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended for users that upgrade from earlier Palm versions. If you're starting mobile computing think about whether you want to go with a pocket PC.
Review: This is my second Palm, received the TX exactly 5 years after my wife gave me the Palm III xe for my birthday in 2000. I had used the Palm III xe almost on a daily basis since then and am now continuing with the TX.
The TX is a world of a...

Will Palm Top the TX?

Date of Review:  Jun 4, 2008
The Bottom Line: The Palm TX is an excellent choice, with hundreds of available software choices and an easy to use interface.
Review: Palm is known for creating user-friendly hand held devices, and they haven't let us down this time.
The Palm TX is both innovative and easy to use, encompassing several features that its predecessors didn't have. With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth...

The Palm Tx : A Great Ebook Reader

Date of Review:  Sep 5, 2008
The Bottom Line: A great ebook viewer and multimedia player with a lot of additional pim and network features. I highly recommend for non-beginners.
Review: My main use of the Tx has been as an ebook reader and audio book player using the 'Documents to Go', acrobat reader, and the 'Pocket Tunes' (MP3 player application) which come with the Tx. These 3 applications are the most usefull apps(best) which...

Not robust. Software issues.

Date of Review:  Sep 5, 2007
The Bottom Line: Flimsy. Needs frequent repair. Too many problems for the price. Check out Sony Cleo or other PDA instead.
Review: This is an update: To date I have replaced one digitizer - the screen which accepts pen input, and that is failing after six months. In addition to the concerns below are the truly flimsy nature of this essential part and Palm's lack of willingness...

Not An iPhone, But A Worthy Alternative With Mature Technology

Date of Review:  Jan 14, 2008
The Bottom Line: Only those that love high-end technology should consider the T|X for its hefty price tag, but its WiFi, long battery life and beautiful display make it worthwhile.
Review: Palm has, more or less, gotten out of the PDA game. Ironically, the pioneer in personal data assistants has pretty much focused its company's energies on a market it actually helped create: the smartphone. Their industry hit, the Treo, paved the way...

A great piece of Technology!

Date of Review:  Feb 22, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you need a durable PDA get this one because it is easy to use and good value.
Review: This PDA definitely blows all others away. I love it! It is a high quality PDA made durably. It is super easy to view your email or the weather. It is set up to easily connect to the internet. In literally seconds you can be connected to the web. It...
