XLink BlueTooth

I had been looking for a way to make the use of the cellular phone easier with my land line phone number.

I decided to try the XLink as it sounded like a simple easy solution to get my regular phones working so I could hear that I had a phone call coming in anywhere in the house.

The directions are simple to follow and the setup took about 10 minutes to complete.
I also installed a outdoor cellular antenna at the same time to improve reception.

The packaging was nice and the instructions were very much to the point.

I cant remember when I last had an electronic device that was this simple to install.
The pairing of the unit to my cell phone was boom plop done, yes that simple. The phone recognised the unit right off and the security code is given in the instructions along with the unit.

Once the unit was up and running I tested it with my personal cell phone and made a call to my land line number.
Upon removing the desk top phone from its hook I was greeted with the usual "Dial Tone" I have come to expect after 50+ years of using phones. The usual tones were heard as I dialed the number followed soon by the usual ringing sound. The party I had called answered and we had a conversation for a few minutes.
I had them call me back to check the incoming function. Just like a regular land line, the little desk phone rang as it always has, I answered the call as usual and was greeted with a nice clear sounding call just as with the land line.

This is a great idea for those wanting to rid themselves of a land line that is seldom used.
We had our land line number ported to a cellular phone that was added to our family plan for a very small fee.
Now in case of a power outage the XLINK will be down but your cellular phone will still run on its battery until power is restored.

The unit is a nice looking little black box with its own power supply unit. It can be mounted on the wall with two scews that catch in matching slots in the back of the unit ot it can sit on a desk top using a little leg that snaps into the unit (Supplied)

You can pair up to 3 phones to this unit so you won't miss your important calls.
