Author's Review
I have used InterVideo DVD Copy 2 Platinum and InterVideo DVD Copy 3 Platinum version. Initially, I thought the products to be very good, but after further use and attempts to get around some of the quirks of the product I have changed my mind.
Both version are OK if you just want a simple DVD clone (no changes to DVD content) software, but don't try and drop unwanted languages, or drop unwanted video files such as previews, etc. The editing capability is full of bugs and the vendor will not fix them. The vendor does not issue periodic updates to the software like other vendors, so you are stuck with the problem until the next release hits the market.
In this day and age of rapid communications and automatic downloads for updates, I find this behavior intolerable and unrealistic in todays market. Having worked in the computer software industry for 30 years, and having experience with countless vendors, I find this company really lacking in product support. Avoid this product, there are others that do a better job of supporting what they sell.
