Not to bad for the price

Pros:  price, good lcd performance, nav is spot on!

Cons:  Slow to acquire GPS signal, No phone number query

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

I recently purchased the 3500P and have been pleasantly surprised. The turn signal indicator is a useful tool and the units nav directions seem to be spot on. I was surprised to see such a poor review for this unit by PC magazine, but after reading it I could tell that they must have never really used it. They complained that there was no direct entry alphanumeric key board (There is) and they said it doesn’t play mp3 files (it does) then they said it had no upgradeable memory capability (I guess the SD card slot on the top doesn’t count?)
Any way I like mine and for under 400$ its a good deal. I do have two complaints though. The first one is that the unit does take longer than most to acquire GPS signal upon start up and the second is that it would be nice to be able to query locations by phone number.

That about concludes my little review do with it what you will!
