beautifully designed JVC that'll fill your room w/ quality...

....walking thru the electronics showroom @ my local sears, i saw this beauty originally priced out @ $2500 & it was marked down 2 $1500 & couldnt pass up the deal-it had been returned out of guilt by a customer who said his wife was a little concerned aboout the tv...she said if her husband was going to buy such a behemoth of a tv ,she was going to kill him!!! well ,yes, its a big 1 for sure- all in its widescreen glory w/ a cool black boarder that surrounds all 44" of screen-it it is a rear projection that is so compactly built, it has a totally flat screen plasma tv look that fits beautifully on a tabletop-great sound but even better sound when hooked up 2 your 5.1 surround sound system-go ahead & spend the rediculuosly low price of $5/month for the HD converter box from your local cable company to get the hi-def broadcasts...wait till you see the PBS hi-def travel & nature shows...will blow u right off the sofa!! a bit of wise advise for those who get frustrated @ the "screen door" affect of big screen hi-def picture quality...turn down the adjustments on the picture adjustments via the remote control...especially "picture" & "detail"...turn them BELOW the "0" setting making them a minus adjustment-it took me a while to figure this out but you'll get a better,clearer picture-wait till u see a dvd like "indian jones & the last crusade" or "dick tracy"...picture quality is unheralded!! i think the only littlest complaint i might have is that the sound the tv makes when u turn it off is so faint u dont know if uve turned it off because the power indicator light is the same if the tv is on or in cool off mode after uve turned it off- but, i think 1 of the best features of this tv is that its an LCD & there are completely easy instructions on how 2 change the LCD bulb all by yourself when it does eventually die-you dont have to wait for them to come to your house to fix it( get the 3-5 year coverage plan-totally worth it!!)-ive priced these bulbs too & to my surprise theyre only $250 on the JVC.COM website...this set is a great buy but make sure the room you are putting it in is big enough to accomidate this great JVC LCD HD-ILA MODEL HD 52Z575...enjoy!!
