JVC XV-S30BK DVD Player is a Bargain!

The JVC XV-S30BK DVD player is a no frills basic DVD player with remote control. I purchased this unit for $139, and am very satisfied with its performance. It reads dvd video, and audio cds...you will need a different model for MP3 discs. The unit has component, video out, and s-video out outputs. Other features:

Picture functions: strobe, digest, angle, zoom, parental lock, and theater position.

Audio functions: digital sound, surround function (Dolby Digital and DTS), 3D Phonic function (2 channel surround sound).

Other functions: multi-language subtitles and sound, multi disc playback (audio cd, video cd, dvd video), operation from the on-screen display.

Bottom line...it plays dvds and is easy to operate. For $139...it is a great buy and we love the quality of dvds versus the inferior video tape!

What is really important is that it does a great job of playing audio cds and video dvds...which is what most of us consumers want. The dvd format is so superior to the VHS videotape, and prices on dvds are dropping. This JVC unit is easy to use, and gives a great picture. I haven't had any difficulty playing audio cds, and this unit seem to be all that we need. So, if you want a dvd player at a low price, check out this quality unit from JVC!
