Product Review

Love my Jeep!

by   sewin2disney ,   Mar 11, 2008

Pros:  Fun all around car, "Jeep Wave", Jeep community

Cons:  constant fixes, poor gas milage

The Bottom Line:  You have to be a Jeep person to want a Wrangler, but if you are, definitely go for it!

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars
Handling And Control: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

I cannot say how much I love driving my Jeep. I have a 1997, 4 cylinder, manual transmission Wrangler, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Of course there's always the hassle of owning an 11-year-old car, but that's half the fun of it. Yes the top sometimes leaks, and yes my windshield wipers don't always work, and oh yes does it have horrible gas mileage, but what other car can help you create an instant friend in a parking lot just because you drive a Jeep? And what other car allows you to "wave" at complete strangers while passing on the road? And ladies---Jeeps are complete guy magnets--- especially if you drive a Manual transmission -- trust me on this one!
Don’t buy an older Wrangler if you don’t have the weekend time to devote to it. Half of the fun of owning one is spending what seems like every other weekend under your car fixing it. The other half of the fun of a Wrangler is waiting patiently for those summer months when you can finally take the top down and drive around to the obvious jealously of others. Nothing beats the sun on your face and the wind in your hair.
