Pros: The tops are easy to get on and off, the body style changed back to the old CJ round headlight style, and they are pretty.
Cons: Unless you're heir to a small fortune, the gas mileage will put you in the poor house.

Review: Ever since I lived with my old roommate Aaron, I wanted to get a Jeep. He was in love with them, and was somehow able to infect me with his love of this rough and tumble vehicle. So earlier this year (April to be exact) I bought a '97 Wrangler...

Review: I bought a 1997 Moss Green Jeep Wrangler Sport brand new in the spring of 1997 at a Mike Shad dealership in Jacksonville, FL. At the time, I was interested in a convertible that was reasonably priced (starts well under $20,000) and didn?t have high...

Cons: wind noise, theft

Review: I am writing this opinion because I feel I'm fairly educated in regards to Jeep Wranglers being that I have owned two myself. My first Jeep was a rebuilt 1979 CJ-7. This was a great SECOND car but by no means a reliable car to drive everyday. I used...

Review: Currently I own a 1997 Sahara that I purchased used for $16,000 with only 26,000 miles on it. This is my third Jeep. I previously owned a 94 soft top and a 95 hard top. While the hard top was quieter while driving on the highway, the hoisting of...

Pros: Fun in the sun, can go anywhere.
Cons: Powertrain warranty is VERY limited, & related parts can be cost prohibitive.
The Bottom Line: It's a fun vehicle to drive in spite of its shortcomings. Should you decide to buy one, GET THE FULL EXTENDED WARRANTY.

Review: I did not buy this vehicle for practicality, or for its road handling characteristics. So I can say in those regards, it lived up (or down) to its reputation. It is fun to drive on sunny days, and does not limit you to the confines of the beaten...

Pros: Easy to maintain, GREAT fun for nice weather, durable, excellent 4 wheel drive
Cons: A gas guzzler
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Whether it's white, black, blue or green, hard top, soft top, or no top this vehicle falls into a class of its own. It is essentially a grown up's Lego set, in that almost every part of a Jeep not only comes off, but was DESIGNED to come off.

Review: I love my 1997 4 L SE and plan on keeping it but I have experienced severe leaks at the roof to body seal above the windshield. This happens every time I change from soft top back to hardtop. So far it has been under warranty but now I am on my own...
