Jet Magazine could possibly be the one source of media to which the African American Community is not addressing when it often speaks of how the media loves to showcase the African American Community in a negative light. This is not said because Jet is geared toward readers of color.

Jet is exactly what the African Americans and other people of color who are often showcased within its cover have been asking for and not realized its had. A media source that exhibits the African American community as a functioning culture, with support given in the hardest of times and praises sung at the happiest of them. From the average to the celebrity Jet allows its readers to both celebrate and support the African American Community.

Whether or not you like all of the articles within its covers, ask yourself does such a magazine exist?

Read Jet for information. Read Jet as a spring board used to understand the African American culture, from politics, social interaction, the infrastructure of the African American family, the list could go on. At one point in time you can be sure that Jet will address it.
