I can see clearly now.

Acuvue 2 contacts are quite fantastic! I have been wearing them for about 5 years now and I've never really had any issues with them. As a former glasses-wearer, I can honestly say that these Acuvue 2 contacts have changed my life. I used to have to squint to see long distances, such as the chalk board across my classroom. This made it difficult to take notes in class. I decided to try glasses and ended up hating them. There was too much of a glare with overhead lighting, and being an active person involved in sports, glasses were inconvenient for me to wear. I went to the eye doctor and was prescribed Acuvue 2 contact lenses. My eyes adjusted to them right away. I couldn't believe the difference! I could see clearly! These lenses are great for people, like myself, who have a different prescription in each eye. When I began using these contacts, my left eye had astigmatism. There are special Acuvue lenses made for correcting astigmatism, and they work very well. At my next eye doctor visit (I'm guessing about 6 or 7 months later) he informed me that the astigmatism was gone. I had astigmatism-free eyes!

Acuvue has many different options suitable for anyone and everyone, including different types of lenses (such as monthly, daily, 24-hour) and even different tints and colors. I haven't tried out the colored ones, mainly because I think they can look kind of freaky on some people (such as people with naturally dark eyes who put in light blue ones...weird) and I like my green eyes the way they are. Overall, there have been few with my contacts. Occasionally one will rip or setbacks get a little chip in the side. They are easily replaceable and my eye doctor's office gives free replacements for rips and tears. Sometimes, I lose them too, but usually I can find it where I clumsily dropped it on the counter. If not, I just let the eye doctor know, and I get a replacement. Despite the setbacks, I've been very satisfied with these contacts and I would recommend them to anyone who needs vision correction.
