This awesome bib is the only one you'll need!
Date of Review: Jun 20, 2008
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this product, it worked fantastically from day 1. Don't bother with the cheap ones nor spend extra $ with the Baby Bjorn brand.
This Kiddopotamus Bibbity Rinse & Roll bib is a heavy duty bib perfect for feeding your infant or toddler. By theory you can rinse it off after eating and roll it into the cup portion and save space in your diaper bag.
Description (taken from Amazon.com)
The amazing new Bibbity Rinse & Roll bib is made with a unique, flexible material that gently conforms to your child's body and adjusts for a custom fit from 8 months to 4 years. To keep the mess off your baby, the Bibbity is 100% waterproof and spills are caught by the built in scoop before landing on your child's lap. Contoured collar is soft around baby's neck and adjusts easily. The Bibbity rolls into its own scoop and tucks into diaper bag for meals on the go. After meals, simply rinse clean. No more piles of bibs to launder every day! FDA compliant materials. The Bibbity contains no PVC, phthalates or latex.
My thoughts
After going through several cheapie bibs (the ones that feel like picnic tablecloths), I decided to invest in a more fancy bib. I liked the Kiddopotamus Bibbity mainly because it was sturdy and flexible, but also because the scoop in front seemed to promise less food on my sons lap.
Pros:
* The adjustable neck allowed it to fit my 8 month old perfectly, where his old cheap bibs would leave a gap between the neckline and his chin (leading to food stains on all his shirts).
* The scoop worked like magic. His cheap bibs only had plastic pockets that did not always catch his food. The Bibbity bib scoop caught every morsel of food that didn't make it to his mouth. It even caught the water that dribbled out of his mouth.
* I loved the flexibility of the bib. It is the same material as my silicon baking ware, which I love because they are very sturdy and clean up fast.
* Cute selection of colors. They come in cute pastel colors (pink, blue, yellow and green).
For the record I was also looking at the Baby Bjorn bibs and decided to go with this Kiddopotamus brand based on the pros above.
Cons:
* I bought the blue color of this bib, and it seems to hold some food stains from squash, carrots and peas.
