So far , so good

I bought this too match the rest of my appliances, the handle especially matches my fridge, oven, etc.. So far it works perfectly, the oven temp is right on target and is soooooooooo handy to have ( I had a regular Dualit pop up toaster which was nice - but all it did was toast 2 pieces of bread - but that was all you could do). I love not running my regular oven to make 6 buffalo wings. The only negative thing I have to say is that the handle on the toaster DOES get warm/hot. When toasting, it gets warm, but when your running it on 350 degrees or higher for more than 20 min, the handle does get hot. I phoned Kitchen Aid to see if this was common and it is. They suggested to use a mitt (gee thanks for the INGENIOUS recommendation). But I decided to keep the toaster, even though it gets hot, it works fine and looks great. What more do I want from a toaster?
