A Really Great Blender

My husband and I registered for this blender for our wedding. We compared several blenders at the store, and we're really glad that we picked this one.

First of all, this blender actually works! It can puree vegetables, crush ice or frozen fruit, and make a wonderful smoothie really fast. The unique shape of the blade is perfect for mixing. It creates a whirlpool effect that pulls items from the top of the pitcher down to the blades. The motor has enough power to do any job you could expect a blender to do.

Plus, the entire pitcher is one-piece, which makes cleaning it up really simple. All you need to do is lift the pitcher off of the base, and put it into the dishwasher. You're all done! The pitcher also has a nice shape that makes it look stylish and pour easily. The pitcher is made of polycarbonate (plastic).

My only complaints are that the base is quite heavy and it makes a lot of noise. We just leave the blender on the counter all of the time, so we don't really mind the weight. But if you'll be constantly taking it in and out of cupboards, it would be a hassle. Operating the blender is quite loud. We live in an apartment building, so we try to avoid using it after 9 pm so that we don’t disturb our neighbors. That works out fine except for late-night milkshake cravings!

Overall, I would highly recommend this product.
