Not worth the money

It looks great, it's substantial and it does grind well, BUT it requires cleaning out of the chamber often and it's simply a nuisance to do. My first one didn't last longer the six months before it stopped altogether. I will say that KitchenAid's customer service team was FABULOUS -- shipped me a new one right away (there's a two-year guarantee) and provided the box for me to return the defective one. But I would not recommend this (OR the companion coffee maker). Neither is worth the hefty price tag.
