Changing lights requires expensive repairman

Pros: Excellent performance and ease of operation.

Cons: Frequent light changes by expensive repairman is a major design flaw.

As much as my wife and I enjoy this appliance because of its operations and performance, I would not recommend it to any of my friends because of one very major design flaw: Mere mortals who are not engineers and contortionists cannot change the light bulbs on the unit. It must be done by a repairman at $85 just for the trip charge. After a few of those, we could buy a new oven. We have two other KitchenAid appliances, and both perform to expectations or above. I don't understand how KitchenAid bombed so badly on this one.
