Pros: Flat-sounding frequency response up to the lower mid-bass, small size, 5 speakers in the set
Cons: Lower mid-bass rolls off due to smaller "woofer" drivers
The Bottom Line: It may not be a professional-quality set of speakers, but these "low end" Klipsch still fills a medium size room very well and still sound great.

Review: As some of my fellow readers know, I've been using a stereo desktop speaker set (though a good one - Klipsch ProMedia 2.1) for my modest home theater system. Basically it...

Pros: Great for movies, take up very little space, come with a stand
Cons: Definitely need to be paired with a powered subwoofer, not the best for music
The Bottom Line: Matched with a subwoofer, this system compares favorably to the Bose products and cost less than half the price.

Review: I purchased the Synergy quintet system for my bedroom and matched it with a Pioneer VSX-514 that puts out 100 watts per channel and am very happy with my setup.
The satellites are barely larger than a 16 oz bottle of water and fit easily... |

Pros: Crisp, wonderful sound. Very distinct spatial separation. Good highs, excellent mids.
Cons: 4 of my 5 speakers are white (the center is black??). Oh well...

Review: There really isn't much more to say about these. I just bought the Quintet 2 set in white (I'd prefer black, but for $199 Canadian, I'll take white :) and they are phenomenal. I'm using a high-current Yamaha amp with only 60w RMS per channel and...

Pros: Accurate, Well Balanced, with a Quality feel. Worth every penny.
Cons: Designed for home theater more than pure audio

Cons: Poor support for auxiliary inputs; no hardware control over bass/treble.

Review: I bought these speakers for use with a computer gaming system and I've been very pleased with their sound--in fact, so pleased that I got rid of the stereo system in my office and now use these speakers for all of my audio. The drawback--if you...

Review: I love the clear, crisp sound, but one speaker blew already on 100 Watt output from my Yamaha 1400 receiver (Note-be careful of cranking Paul McCartney's live 'America' DVD too loud during 'Live & Let Die'). My local retailer took good care of...

Pros: Can handle decent wattage.
Cons: not quite as good as a MTX 15' home system.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: These speakers are capable of loud CLEAR highs, even while cranked up to 400 watts (200 on highs, and 200 on the base). The base speakers also responded well at full wattage.
