Don't Walk, RUN AWAY From This One!
Pros:
Decent price, decent outside shots.
Cons:
quality photos is compromised, especially when using optical zoom/telephoto (mostly indoor)
The Bottom Line:
Don't walk RUN from this one.
It's cheap & hard to find not because it's popular, but because it's so bad it's being taken off the shelves & discontinued.

I thought having an 8mp camera would produce better quality pics, well it does unless you decide to use the 5x optical zoom which lends itself to 'grainy' and 'double vision' prints. This is especially true for indoor picture taking.
Also because it's an 8mp, the picture size is over 3000 pixels and you WILL have to resize each and every one if you decide you want to share them via email. Uploading them to a photo storage website is brutally slow I would suspect, for dial-up users who also may experience possible crashes when uploading such huge file sizes. Of course you can always adjust the photo pixels image size from an 8, 7, 5 etc, and all the way down to I think a 3, but then again, paying extra money to have more pixels that you aren't even using is pretty senseless in my opinion.
Although there are many features and options to use for that special photograph, by the time you figure which of the 'bells and whistles' to use for a particular shot, the precious moment is gone! The automatic is only decent for outside pics and nothing more.
Although I'm no expert photographer, I am also NOT a novice and have had photography as a hobby for over 35 yrs. and I am horribly disatisfied with the ill quality of indoor pics.
