Sounds like its going to break

The Bottom Line: Terrible product and money better spent on another company's printer.
I was very excited to get this printer - so much so that I paid the full price at Best Buy. What a major disappointment right from the start. The instructions were vague and I needed to install software for my Mac. Had problems upfront getting the unit to print. In fact had to keep restarting my computer in order to print. Scattered in the papers is a piece of paper stating - do NOT install the software on a Mac system. Crap! Thank goodness for backup systems.
So I downloaded the appropriate software and still had issues getting the printer to work. On a positive side the copier works well. The unit eventually did print and the machine sounds itself like a huge piece of plastic that is about to fall apart into tiny pieces. It is disturbing the sounds that it makes!
The print quality is pretty poor and I would love to comment on the picture function but could not get it to utilize the 4x6 printer section. The menus on the printer do not allow to move trays and there is a lack of software on the mac to do that as well.
I did install the windows software on my PC. I found that it had many more menus and a control center that appears to be more functional. I was so tired of fighting with the machine that I just gave up. I plan on packing it up and sending it back to Best Buy. I will stick with Cannon or Epson on my next purchase.
