Pros: Outdoor photos are in a word, phenomenal! Deep, true greens, blues, and in betweens!
Cons: Battery door and regular battery fit are less than acceptable. Indoor lighting can be tricky.

Review: I've had my DX-6440 now for a year and have had no regrets. Didn't want to go beyond 4 MP for on-line auction use. Manual settings are just the right amount for the novice, however, I would still advise reading the User's Guide thoroughly to avoid...

Pros: This was a good camera until the lens wouldn't open.
Cons: The cost of the repair was more than I paid for the camera.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: My lens will not open. Reviews here and on other web-sites have the same complaint. This camera should be recalled. There are too many complaints for the same problem.

Pros: Great point and shoot camera for beginner and good features for more advanced users.
Cons: Needs a separate off/on button and lost pictures no warning when battery gets low.

Review: Picture quality good. I have taken many sequential action shots at the 3.1 meg pixel setting for cool results. Rechargeable battery life good for about 150-250 shots.
