Pros:
Excellent value, great superwide zoom lens, rich colors, movie mode, 8 megapixels.
Cons:
some people who are more into "image" laugh at the name Kodak...too "consumer."
The Bottom Line:
i bought the Kodak P880 and love it. It has an excellent superwide zoom, vibrant colors, 8 megapixels for detail, and video. it is a great value.

Author's Review
I just returned from New Zealand (beautiful country!) and the Kodak P880 did a superb job.
The Kodak P880 has a 24 mm superwide zoom that really pulls in the scenery. Great wide vistas all in one shot! it si also excellent for portraits.
The Kodak also has 8 megapixels for detail, even in big enlargements.
There are numerous settings, from completely automatic to manual. the zoom is fully manual like expensive dSLRs...no more pressing buttons to zoom in and out. just twist and you are there.
there IS a high quality video mode-great for when you don't feel like lugging around the camcorder.
for the more adventurous, the is even a RAW option.
and lastly, there are those excellent Kodak colors.
