LG Chocolate VX8500

A little over a month ago, I was due for a new phone under my Verizon plan. I had my options narrowed down to two phones, the Blackberry Pearl or the LG Chocolate. I went with the Chocolate because I had no need for the mandatory internet use that came with the Pearl.
I have been relatively happy with the Chocolate thus far. It's a cool looking phone and has great speakers on it. I like the sliding feature that it has. It's also a small phone, which is nice since I keep it in my pocket.
However, I have had some problems with it as well. It's been randomly turning off almost once a day, which can be an annoyance more than anything. Also, people have claimed they have trouble hearing me because of my phone. I've considered going into Verizon and asking for a replacement, but these problems have not become that cumbersome yet.
