Great Dryer

I love this dryer. I purchased it in October of 2007 and it has done a great job so far. It was bought along with the LG WM2455HW washing machine which I also adore. The sensor dry works well for me therefore it is energy saving in that the dryer shuts off when the clothes are dry and not in the time on the read out. The only times that I find that it is inaccurate is when a large load sometimes gets balled up, i.e. bed sheets or heavy comforters. Most loads set on "normal" come out perfect. For jeans and heavy work clothes I just kick the dry level up a notch to "more dry" and even the heaviest seams are dry. The audible dingle (which can also be silenced) when the load is done is a great help for me because I tend to forget about the clothes and now mine are less wrinkled because I get to them sooner. It has the ability to custom program special settings that you use more often, as well as multiple combinations of regular settings suitable for most any garment.
If I had to come up with some faults, first is that the lint filter is a bit lacking. I am finding that a lot of lint blows by it and gets pushed out my vent outside my house. This may be normal with a vented dryer, I'm not sure because my previous dryer had a condenser and wasn't vented outdoors. Second would be that the trim ring around the dryer door (matte silver) doesn't match my washing machine (shiny silver) from LG. My suggestion to LG would be to make the frontal appearance uniform so different model levels could be mixed and matched.
update: 9-21-08 I've got the machine for almost 1 year now and I'm still as happy with it as when I got it. For heavy loads I've found that using the "more dry" setting does the trick especially when you have sheets and such that tend to get bunched up. The audible ding-er is a god send because now I can catch the load when its finished and it doesn't wrinkle up, now I do a lot less ironing.
