Works for me

I'm probably gonna jinx myself on this. I read the not so glowing reviews on this dryer, but all of the positive reviews of the 2277 washer motivated me to give the dryer a try.

Three weeks into ownership, there are no obvious major flaws with the unit. There is some drum noise as described by other posters. It is more pronounced with light loads, and hardly noticeable with heavy loads. I have run about 15 loads so far and dryer sheets have gotten caught on the lint catcher frame twice. We will switch over to a liquid softener once we run out of dryer sheets. We were not told that we couldn't use dryer sheets.

We like our clothes to come out of the dryer just a little damp, and I've been having to back off one setting on the dryness setting. Otherwise they get too dry and we have wrinkle problems. It takes the washer about 55 minutes a load and the dryer takes about 30 minutes to dry the same load. So I'm always waiting on the washer, but the washer does a very good job of spinning the water out of the clothes. Makes the job real easy for the dryer.

So far, we are good to go on this one.
