I have owned this dishwasher for almost 5 months now and I have experienced some of the symptoms of all the reviews. The dishwasher is difficult to install(and I do this kind of work for a living). We had a problem with dishes being dirty after a cycle. After spending more time stacking them so the dishes didn't touch, they started to clean much better. There is steam blowing on my tile floor to the left of the machine which might cause a long term problem with mold or premature decomposition of my tile grout. I paid 700 dollars for this machine and I am not really satisfied with it. There are still a couple of dirty dishes after each cycle. I would've returned the machine for my money back if I was still within my 90 day return period. We have gotten an error message twice for no apparent reason where all the lights were blinking and the machine stopped. We were told by customer service that we had to schedule an appointment. Since I didn't want to take off work and lose money, I continued to use the dishwasher and the problem went away. Something tells me that my problems with this dishwasher are not gone completely. My wife swears that our 15 year old dishwasher cleans better than this one which is disheartening since the LG was rather expensive. I was also told by customer service that rinse aid was a necessity for clean dishes which adds more annual cost to run the dishwasher.
