I bought this only 2 years ago. It recently started sparking and quickly wore though the paint in a line, and even through the metal inside. Almost started a fire!!! Complained to LG and even sent pictures. LG would do nothing because it was out of warranty, even though this is obviously a factory defect.
If you plan on buying this microwave, get an extended warranty to go with it for when it craps out on you and starts your kitchen on fire.
