Have you ever thought about trying a cellular phone that has a name that resembles something from space? Well if you want to start now you could buy the new LG Venus from Verizon Wireless. This is there new addition to the Verizon family that it sophisticated and stunning. The Venus is touch screen phone. It has two screens on the front of it! One is just for the overall purpose of a screen where as the one below it is for the touch screen part. This is a very neat way of having a touch screen. It’s something different and unique. What happens when you need to make a call or text? The Venus is a slider phone that uncovers a keyboard when you slide it upwards. This is the nice thing about it. You can call from the touch screen part or when the phone is slid up. The down aide is that you can not text from the front of the phone. You have to use the hidden keyboard. I personally don’t mind this because I am stuck in my old ways of loving the buttons to text. Trying to use the screen on other phones was hard because the buttons were “touchy”. Also this phone comes in two perfect, different colors. You could purchase a black one of the sleek stunning style or you could pick up a pink one that’s very cute and girly. Either way you will be satisfied! This is a really good phone, I would recommend it to most people because it is stylish, trendy, durable (depending how the phone is used), has all the new features, and it quite affordable.
Stylish and Trendy:
Most people these days want a phone that is chic and sleek. Well I have the solution in mind. The Venus is just that! I have had this phone in both colors (black & pink) and there really wasn’t a day that went by that people didn’t compliment my phone. They also used the lines like, “Oh, that’s so cute” or “Wow, those are pretty good looking”. I enjoy it when people compliment the style, because it makes me feel like I made a good choice. Haha! Also with the phone having the two touch screen it’s something totally different and makes the phone stand out that much more. Another cool thing about this phone is that depending on which phone color you get it comes with special features. If you get the pink Venus the Display Themes can come in pink! Being a girly girl I loved it! Also the wallpaper comes with some really sweet pictures that are of course pink-o-lious! But if you are not all into the cute and pink stuff the phone comes in black. The black phones features are more laid back and black. How obvious, huh! Haha! But this phone also has some sweet wallpaper choices that would be perfect for a guy or a girl who just isn’t into pink. It is nice that this phone gives you an option that satisfies your taste.
Durability:
This phone is not typically durable enough for a work phone. The Venus is durable don’t get me wrong, but it isn’t made for being bumped into walls, dropped really hard, or being put through harsh weather. It is more made for an office phone. Something you can have on you but still be careful with it. If you are too rough with this phone the touch screen could get broken or just die out. And with this phone being a touch screen phone that would pretty much mean you would have to buy a new one because the phone could become useless very fast. With my phone it is perfect to have because I can put it in my pocket or my purse and go on my way to work. When I get there just set it on my desk and carry on with my job. It is a perfect phone for someone who is gentle with their belongings. So if you are working a hard labor job and keeping your phone with you, unfortunately this phone might not be the one for you.
New Features:
The Venus is loaded with tons of new features! When you first look at it you can tell that it has two touch screens. That’s something you don’t see every day. The next thing you see without even opening the phone is the camera lens on the back. It has a 2.0 megapixel camera. This is a pretty good size to have for a cell phone. Then if you take a look on the side of the phone you will see a removable memory slot. This is a new very handy feature. If you have ever just wanted to transfer your information to another phone without the hours it takes to get everything switched over this is a feature you would love! I know with my old phone I always wanted to be able to just move everything over. But I had to sit down and transfer one phone number at a time which was very time consuming! Also this removable memory serves as a back up if your phone dies. You can choose to save everything onto the little disk. Also the phone has Bluetooth, Music Player, Get It Now Navigator, Mobile Web 2.0, V CAST Music, V CAST Video, Mobile IM, email, and chat. These are all the new features people are starting to see more and more of. So how about you buy this phone to see what all the happiness is about.
Affordable:
If you are a newbie to the version industry you might be looking at a 2 year contract with them. If you get this deal you get a phone at a really good price! The phone is only $199 with this deal. I know that might not seem cheap but in today’s world phones can be extremely high priced. When I say high priced, I’m taking about $500. When I got my phone it was time for my upgrade. With the upgrade you get a phone at the same price as you would get it with a two year contract. This is a nice feature form the company. There are always new phones coming onto the market and being able to convert to something trendier is nice. But one downside about buying this phone is if you are not getting a two year contract or an upgrade, it can become a pricey phone. To buy the LG Venus by itself is anywhere from $249-$399. That is a lot of money in some peoples mind, but once again, there are way more expensive cellular phones than the Venus.
Conclusion:
Overall the LG Venus has been my favorite cell phone from Verizon Wireless. This phone is something everyone could love if they gave it the chance. It has everything people are looking for in their new cell phones. The Venus is just like all my other phones but it brings the new technology and has the special shazamm to it and that’s what I love about it! This cell phone is worth the money and most people who buy this phone will enjoy it. So now can I ask, do you feel like trying something out of this world?
