.: 2003 Lexus IS300

The Lexus IS300 is a fantastic car for those who want a mix of sport & luxury without the 3 series price. Obviously this is the answer to the European domination in this market up to this point in time. The car handles well but could use suspension enhancements to bring out it's full potential..i.e. strut bars, cross member bars, larger antisways. The instrument panel is fantastic after you get used to it's compact layout. The amber display is easy on the eyes and HIDs will light up the streets like you've just harnessed the power of the sun. Wheels on the IS are pretty standard in design but do have a touch of class that is hard to beat on a stock ride. Also the '03 has a black chrome inner tail lamp that definitely sets it apart from the altezza lights others have on every 3rd car I see. The exhaust tip is a large but does not have a go-kart note found in most aftermarket applications. The only suggestion I would make for Lexus is to offer a complete TRD package at time of purchase that would retain the same warranty as base.
