Great next-generation wireless mouse
Pros:
size, sleek design, power and battery indicators, OFF switch!, accuracy
Cons:
"invisible" optics make detecting power-on slightly more difficult, mouse wheel a tad noisy but smooth
The Bottom Line:
Highly recommended due to size, features compared to some of the "mouse behemoths" out there from others. Just the right size for most hands I think.

Author's Review
I recently purchased this mouse to replace an out-on-a-limb purchase of a Kensington mouse that was way too large. Luckily, this mouse counters to the current trend toward mice made for monstrous people with enormous hands (and my hands are pretty large as it is!)
Installation was extremely simple - literally just plugged the wireless transmitter into a USB port, inserted the batteries into the mouse (2 alkalines are supplied), and voila. However, I did have a small issue - the fact that the old Logitech MouseWare software does not recognize this mouse. The new software is called SetPoint, and it took a reboot or so to get the old software removed. But, of course, the mouse works just fine even without Logitech's software (in Windows XP at least).
Of course, the big plus about this mouse, aside from its size, is the fact it has an OFF BUTTON! No more wasting of batteries if you use alkalines - though I tend to use rechargeables myself, because it's a more environmentally conscious thing to do. When the computer is rebooted, and the batteries are considered "good", a green light lights on the top of the mouse for 10 seconds; if the batteries are going bad, a light will flash red. I'd probably praise this mouse even more if it was able to intelligently power itself down after a long period of time,
The mouse itself has a sleek, near-teardrop shape to it - tends to go well color-wise with your other hardware, assuming it is black or silver. Extremely comfortable and much more precise than the Kensington I had tried - the Kensington never seemed to track properly.
One other feature that I sort of have mixed feelings about, is the fact that this mouse uses "invisible" optics, i.e., there's no red glow underneath the mouse. I guess I just don't see the point of this - I suppose its a good thing - but - because the optics are invisible, the only way to tell if the mouse is powered on is to flip it over to see the small power indicator light.
Logitech claims that batteries will last "up to 8 months" in this mouse; I'll have to see if that's true or not.
Overall, I do highly recommend this mouse, especially if you are considering one of the new-fangled and big-honkin' mice -- they're way, way too large in my opinion.
