Good Upgrade to Replace a Ball Mouse
Pros:
Ambidextrous Mouse, scroll wheel and it's Optical!
Cons:
This mouse tends to be jumpy and stall a bit.
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend this mouse to a beginner user, or just an avg user on a budget due to the price and it's simplicity.

This would be a very good upgrade for an avg user over a ball mouse. You can move the mouse pointer across more of the screen without having to lift the mouse and reposition it like the old ball mice. The mouse pointer will however sometimes come to a complete halt but then go back to working. Not the greatest thing to happen but expected of an inexpensive mouse. This mouse is customizable.
For Avg software use: (Any Microsoft suit software, music, editing, photo, surfing, ect. this would be a decent choice for a mouse for a user who is on a budget.
For Gaming Use: This mouse in my opinion, however, would not be a good choice. It does not have the speed, accuracy or resolution that a true gamer would require to play games at the level they would want to play. However on the flip side, if this mouse is for a child to play childrens games then that is a whole different story. Then in that case sure it would be a good choice, but for the avg teen or adult gamer they would expect a lot more from their mouse.
Note, this is by far no where near the best mouse and if I were to place this mouse on a sliding scale from 1-10 with 10 being best out of all the mice on the market today this would fall around 1.5 .) I say 1.5 for the main fact that of course it is cheap, but optical, but it isn't perfect and does have some slight faults to it. But for a general user and not a power user this would be a great choice as said before.
I hope this review has helped you in making your decision about this mouse.
