Excellent team player game for kids and family

We recently bought the Lego Star Wars game for Wii for the family. We rented it first to try it out and were almost immediately addicted. We have now had the game for almost 6 months and have still not conquered the game. My 6 year old son loves the game yet it is still fun for the adults in our family as well. He has recently become obsessed with the Star Wars Saga but most of the movies are too scary for him to watch. This Lego version allows him to buy into the whole obsession without the weird scary creatures of the movies. There are multiple levels for each of the movies. Once you unlock the first level of the first episode, you are granted access to all the episodes. You collect 'studs' or points along the way which allows my son to 'buy' new characters or ships from the 'cantina'. I love the fact that no characters ever die. Since they are lego, they just fall apart and disappear. This takes away all the blood and gore of many action games. I am completely comfortable allowing him to play with us or alone. I also like the fact that you can go from single player to two players by just clicking the button at any time. That allows me to help out if the level gets too difficult for my son but also keeps me from being stuck in the game when I am ready for a break.
