Love it, big time saver for our Resort

The Bottom Line: Buy the 14.4 volt Dirt Devil Extreme and put the fun back into vacuuming. Easy to use, care for and clean. It does the job very well.
My wife and I rent out seven house-keeping cottages and have a vacuum cleaner in each cottage. When the guests leave it is my job to clean the line cord (AC)vacuums. I am tired of unclogging vacuums (the last one took 2 hours and contained bird parts).
While researching vacuums I came across the 14.4 volt Dirt Devil Extreme. It has no cord to trip over or get wound around chair legs. It has a small dust collector which is great because it gets emptied often, therefore no ugly dust smells. It is actually fun and so convenient and light the cottages get vacuumed more frequently than with the AC models. To take the cordless Dirt Devil out and put it away is no big deal, it goes into and out of its charging station with one hand. No cords to wrap and unwrap and heavy lugging as with an AC vacuum.
When vacuuming it takes a bit of maneuvering to pick up difficult stuff like a crushed raisin in a crack (turn on the carpet brush and attack the raisin from different angles). I have never failed to vacuum up anything with the cordless that could be vacuumed with our AC vacuums. Any questions? I can be found at nllresort.com (Northern Lights Lakeside Resort in Little Lake, Michigan). I really like the little Devils :-))
