This unit is great for me as I have no GPS experience. I have a feeling though that even if you do have GPS experience it will be great for you too.
As with anything, it helps to read the booklet before you use it to get familiar with the terms and such. But it is loads of fun and I look forward to using it while hiking in Arizona this summer!
