Pros: Lots of rebates, free delivery/setup, cleaner clothes, saves on utilities, less detergent, looks great

Cons: expensive - hopefully it will pay for itself someday (easy on clothes & less water)

It took me about 6 months of research before deciding to buy a new Neptune MAH6500. Rebate offers from all my utilities and Maytag finally pushed me over the edge. It has totally exceeded my expectations! It's taking out all the old stains from my clothing. I love using just half the detergent as well. The washer is intelligent/automated - you don't even have to tell it what size load is inside. Contrary to some other reviews - you CAN open the door after washing starts to add more items by pushing start/pause. The water always stays below the height of the door.
