Maytag no longer dependable

When my old top loading Maytag 15 year old "Dependable Care Plus" cratered, I was happy to replace it with the same brand.  I wish I hadn't.  I might as well have flushed my $600 down the toilet.  When the first unit was delivered it was dented and scratched.  They offered me $25 for the "blemishes".  Not good enough to have to look at it for the next (hopefully) 15 years.  About 10 days later another unit arrived.  It looked fine but wasn't.  It has leaked continuously.  For the first service call the tech found the washer case was off the frame.  He fixed that.  Still leaked.  The second service call the tech found the splash ring not seated properly. He ordered and installed a new ring.  Still leaked.  At the third service call the tech found the outer tub cracked and center post gasket not sealing.  He replaced them.  Still leaks.  The unit is way noisier than the old one with clunking sounds from the transmission as it changes cycles.  Too bad the brand has gone so far down hill.
