A great game, but not much of a challange
Pros:
Incredible level of free range
Cons:
VERY easy game.
The Bottom Line:
This game is too easy to give all 5 stars, but its a great game. Just dont confuse this as Fable 2, that game is coming out summer 2007.

Author's Review
Fable: The Lost Chapters is the same game as Fable, but with more content, so there is no reason to buy the original if you have TLC, but if you have the original you might consider picking up this game.
In Fable, your every action molds your soul into who you are, Are you one with the light, a keeper of peace, a do-gooder against all odds or are you dark to the core, evil spiked with hatred, one to be feared, one who would gladly kill his own sister for personal gain.
Whatever you choose, this will define your toon from how he is received in the towns to his very appearance. The more you side with the light and the good the more lighter in color your skin will become, as well as the whiter your hair will get and ultimately you will have a halo and butterflies will flutter around your head. The more you side with evil the more your eyes will glow an evil tint of red, and horns will ascend from your head, and a small pestilence will follow you. In addition to your evil/good rating affecting your appearance so do the attributes that you choose. The more you put in strength the more mass your toon will develop, the more you put in skill the taller and slimmer your toon will become, and the more you put into will, the magical tree, the more your character will glow with a blue energy. Also, eating too much will make you fat; never fear, fat goes away pretty fast. The more you spend in the sun the tanner you will become. You also can customize your toon with tattoos and hair/beard selections.
The leveling is done through gaining XP through killing mobs and with each use of any ability raises your combat multiplier. As the combat multiplier gets higher, the more XP you will gain. The multiplier is decreased every time you get hit.
You are what you eat! Eating certain foods will increase XP in your trees, meat will increase your strength, Carrots will increase your skill, and Fish will increase your will. The eating system is also affected by the combat multiplier. One of the most fun things to do is get your multiplier up as high as you can, than eat NON STOP. Your multiplier will sore and you will be able to level VERY fast.
This game is almost identical to the original fable with nothing missing and a few new things before the end of the game, but the big reward comes after you finish what was the end of the original game this is where the game continues and you journey on to a new land to fight a growing threat. Your character will lever EXTREMELY fast at this point in the game and before you know it, you will have every skill in the game maxed out.
There are some downsides to this game, exploits really, although they are kind of in the game by design they make the game unchallenging. For one, for unlimited money you just pick up things cheap and sell them for a lot. For example if you see a vendor selling perfume and the price is green, that means he is selling them low, so you select purchase all and buy them, then go into your inventory and you will find the perfumes, heres the catch though, the merchant now has a demand for the perfumes, and he will pay you MORE than you just purchased them for. After a few minutes of this, you will have more money than you will ever know what to do with. With all that money comes the second exploit, buy all the mana potions you come across and max out the physical shield skill in the will tree. This skill drains mana instead of health, and thus you have basically unlimited life, and the big kicker is, your combat multiplier NEVER goes down in combat, its not to hard to get the multiplier up to the hundreds, making skill raising an EASY task. I beat the main boss my first try in a matter of minutes with out ever taking damage.
