Review: Why a Zune
Just why did I buy a Zune? Why not an ipod, after all? The Zune is, for all intents and purposes, Microsoft s answer to the ipod. I ve owned an ipod ... |

Pros: Easy to use, good out-of-box experience, good sound, good display
Cons: Limited playable codecs, limited sharing, can only use Zune software and store
The Bottom Line: If you were looking for an analog to iTunes, you got it with the Zune. If you were looking for something more advanced, look elsewhere.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Proof that Marketing is the Key
It's true - marketing is key. If it wasn't for in-your-face marketing, the Zune would have never been considered as a serious contender to the iPod. My brother's 2nd generation iPod 10 GB player... |

Pros: Wifi sharing.RADIO. MORE "BANG FOR BUCK" THAN IPOD
Cons: Limited WiFi.Can't synchronize wirelessly. No Bluetooth OBEX or A2DP
The Bottom Line: Though a latecomer to the DigitalAudio market, Zune's Wifi sharing, screen size and radio make it the better choice for that same $250 you'd spend on Ipod 30GB.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I promised myself I would never buy an Ipod.
Years ago, I worked at Best Buy while I was still in college and was shocked at how much money people were willing to pay for Ipods considering their high return rate. The major problem? If you... |

Pros: Logical controls, great sound quality, large screen.
Cons: A few problems with the software, no external volume control, a bit bulky.
The Bottom Line: I'm happy with my Zunes. They're not perfect, but they more than meet my needs.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: When it comes to MP3 players, the world is divided into two camps - there's iPod, and there's "everything else". But as two Microsoft Zune 30's joined my household last year, I find myself in the "everything else" camp, trying to piece...

Pros: Screen and audio quality, interface, sturdily built
Cons: Too heavy, default ear buds, battery-life, horrible software, didn't age well
The Bottom Line: The First Generation Zune is easy to please, but very outdated--I can't wait to get my hands on a newer model, but this will hold me over till then.
This reviewer recommends this product.

Pros: Huge Screen, great size, great organization, wireless potential is tremendous, VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO
Cons: So new that accessories are still scarce
The Bottom Line: It is a great music player, a clear favorite contender in the battle for the portable audio. iPod will no longer have the monopoly.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: My wife has owned an iPod video for about 6 months, but I wanted the Zune and I held out because I was weary from past experiences about the reliability of Apple products. I was also concerned about the multiple class-action lawsuits against them...
