As Zune As Possible

I always have liked Microsoft company for their electronic products more than the Apple company for theirs. I should have realized that it was only a matter of time before what seemed to be unbeatable would be overtaken. Now the only thing that I really use my Apple Ipod for is taking rides in the car. I use to bring it with me all over the place but now it just stays in the glove box. It is pretty funny, or maybe not so funny, how technology changes so rapidly when there is a product with high demand and a huge marketing demographic.


Alright. I wrote a review that basically exclaims about how great the 8gb black Apple Ipod is the best Mp3 player and how you will never again need another Mp3 player again. Yes, the Apple Ipod is wonderful for music and yes, it is super-durable. The only thing that had me worried about my Apple Ipod was the fact that you cannot change the battery inside of it. Actually, I have heard alot of worry from many different people about how if the battery dies, its going to cost an arm and a leg to send to to Apple to get it fixed. I don't understand why such a huge electronic computer company like Apple could pass right by this fact. Maybe they were hoping on people just buying a new Ipod once theirs broke. Luckily, my battery is still just as good as it was since day one(about 6 months ago). But I will not be buying another Ipod whenever it finally does decide to stop working.


That being said.. the new Zune products are just simply amazing. I still use my Ipod for listening to music of course, its alot smaller and lighter and can be tucked away very easily. I still like its durability for when you are exercising or using it somewhere where you might be a little worried to have electronics on your person. The thing is, when I'm not worried about the size or weight or even the durability, I will now be using my Microsoft Zune product for entertainment. When I am more concerned with how much fun I want to have and how many different things I could possibly do, its going to be my new 30 gig Zune. When I want to actually watch something on the run, its going to be my new 30 gig Zune. When I want to share pictures, videos, or music files with others, its going to be my Zune. When I am just simply bored and looking for something to waste a little time... I'm gonna grab my Zune.


The New Microsoft Zune Mp3 player is extremely easy to use for anybody who uses electronics. I would have to say it is definitely user-friendly and comes with instructions that you really do not even need to read to be able to work most of the features that the Zune has to offer.


Its really just that simple. This product has just about everything you could want in such a small electronic device. The Zune offers alot to the Mp3 market. You can go on the internet to the "Zune Marketplace" and download many different songs, movies, shows, and even some games. On top of all of this, you can even listen to FM radio with your brand new Microsoft Zune. I myself love that fact, even with having 30,000 song capacity on an Mp3 player, sometimes you just want to go back and listen to the good old FM radio, at least I do. You can purchase songs by the single for about a dollar a piece or you can pay a flat monthly fee for as many downloads as you want. This alone make the Zune cheaper in the long run than other Mp3 players, especially the Apple Ipod which charges consumers about two dollars a song and fifteen dollars an album.


I know that the Apple Ipod came out that can pretty much do alot of the same things as the new Microsoft Zune. The thing is, the Zune seems to be a product that is going to just keep growing at a very rapid pace. As soon as there are new additions and programs for your Zune, the updates will be available right away online by connecting the Zune right to your computer. The software that comes with your Zune product will automatically download everything when you hook your device up to your PC. There is also possible sharing of songs,pictures, or video wirelessly(wi-fi) with anybody that you want to share with. This is a great peer-to-peer connection product to have and will definitely be even better to have in the very near future.


You can choose from a few different models and colors of the new Microsoft Zune. There is currently Black (which I have), brown, silver, green, white and a new pink version. For Halo Videogame Lovers, there is even a brand new Halo Special Edition Zune that comes with many Halo related extras. Also, they will be releasing many different models of the Zune with all kinds of different media files already loaded onto it. Maybe a special Rolling Stones Zune with tons of Stones songs pre-loaded? Or a Lost Television show Zune with all the episodes pre-loaded.


It has great sound for a little device. I would recommend buying some nice headphones to go along with your brand new Zune, they will sound great. The screen is also very colorful and big for a small Mp3 device like this. The screen is a 3 inch QVGA LCD screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels that is viewable in the regular screen mode or in a landscape screen mode. This screen is just as good resolution-wise as the Apple Ipods, but it is bigger. That means a great deal to myself. For me, with a product like this, when talking about an LCD screen, bigger is definitely always better. Microsoft has already released many different products to go along with the Zune. You can buy chargers, cases, head phones, covers, screen covers, car chargers, car packages, home packages, speakers, etc..


It has also been said that in the near future, the Zune will be able to wirelessly hook up to a network, not just peer to peer connectivity. Maybe you will be able to go right online with a near by wi-fi internet connection. A feature that has already been seen with the Playstation Portable. You will also be able to check to see what Zunes are in your wi-fi range, if any at all, as to see who you are able to connect with.


Overall, the Zune might not have all THAT much more than the Apple Ipod right now, but it definitely will.


If you are one of those people who like to stay on top of new gadgets and electronics, you will want to purchase a Microsoft Zune. Just looking at how they are designing these new products, you can tell that the future will hold a lot more surprises and the Microsoft Zune will be the last (Mp3, music, movie, picture, digital entertainment) device standing.


Picture being able to listen to music, connect with friends, watch movies, watch television shows, listen to the radio, look at your family pictures, surf the internet, play some games and PROBABLY possibly more.
