Monroe 7140 Calculator doesn't hit the mark!

For anyone who is used to a speedy calculator, this model goes backward in time. You almost have to pound the keys like an old-fashioned manual typewriter if you want to go at your very fastest speed, otherwise one digit might get missed. It's a great unit if you're used to working at an average or slow speed. You won't even notice the deficit. But I enjoyed faster data entry with the older model Monroe's I've used.

It would be great if Monroe offered a trial period and you had an option to select a different model if you weren't satisfied with the one you purchased. I definitely would have turned my 7140 back in to Monroe for something else.

I'd still give them another try because of the quality I have enjoyed in the past Monroe model calculators I've had.
