Good Phone In General, Couple of Issues with it.
Date of Review: Aug 22, 2008
The Bottom Line: Really it's a classy phone i am over all quite happy with it. I would love it to have an Alarm reset on the Front Screen and better Battery life.
Don't get me wrong it's a nice looking solid stainless steel phone and it is easy to use. I bought the Rose-Gold color. Looks the best IMHO.
I find the battery life very poor, 2 days max if you use it a few times. Think about it, when you open the phone there are 2x big screens sucking power.
I like to use the Alarm function a lot as i am a courier and use it to alert me of different times of the day. For example at 5am you reach out and touch the front screen and your choices are Snooze or Disable, no reset Huh! So every night i have to remember to reset all 5 alarms.
I have also accidentally gone to the Internet by touching the front screen after folding the phone closed.
It has a reasonably good Camera.
Music Player, Blue Tooth and has Voice recognition for voice dial and voice commands, ask it about battery life or to send and email etc. Although it tries to talk to you when you use this function but it's too quiet to hear and i can not find a way to boost the volume. The Box also comes with Motorola phone tools CD and USB cable and ear phones.
Good looking wall paper and a large Digital-clock display on the front screen. Two skins Alkali is the best looking. Only one game installed.
There doesn't seem to be any way to change the front screen. But the Bigger Home screen has the ability to reorder the icons or have a list view. You can reassign the smart key and soft keys and center scroll key functions.
