Garmin StreetPilot c340 Car GPS Receiver

I purchased the 340 last week and the next day I noticed that it kept freezing up all day long. Then, after a cold start it wouldn't get any signal. I had to keep rebooting to get it going.

I called Garmin and they said that this was a first. What's odd, is that I found out, while searching the internet, that Garmin was experiencing this with all their new models, i.e. the 2720 and that others had complained about the same problem with their 340. Also, the Text to Speech voice is terrible. "Lisa" talks too fast and sounds like an old telephone operator with a cold, only very robotic. You can barely understand the street names.

I am in the process of returning it and I'll probably look at the Magellan or iWay, even though I'd prefer a 340 that works. But it doesn't. Their tech support staff all have different stories and are pretty much useless.
