Serious design flaws

The Coolpix takes *great*pictures. The sharpness and color quality are truely excellent. However, there is a serious design flaw. The flash is literally 1/8 of an inch from the lens. That means the any time you use the flash, red-eye is a serious problem (serious enough that software often can't remove it convincingly). This also causes "white ghost balls" if there is *ANY* dust in the air. The flash reflects off of tiny dust particles that show up as hazy white circles in your pictures. VERY difficult to Photoshop them out.

My only other complaint is that there is very little warning when the battery is low. You get maybe 5 shots between the battery indicator and completely dead.
