The Bottom Line: I love it, for my first SLR camera it was a great choice.
Last year I bought my first SLR camera, I had wanted one for a long time. I really like this camera, the pictures come out beautiful. The battery life is fantastic.
What I use this camera for is paranormal investigating. This camera does filter out alot of the dust that usually shows up on digital pictures. I am also happy with the speed of being able to take the next picture. I am usually able to shoot off three pictures very rapidly. The only drawback that I did find is in low light areas the camera will take it's time focusing before it will take the picture. But I did find a cure for that. I picked up a external flash(speedlight). That seemed to fix that problem. It did create a new one..it makes the camera bulky.
I am also happy that the camera uses the SD Media Cards, so I can take about a thousand pictures if I wanted to! I am also able to shoot video clips with this camera and they also have come out ok.
I usually wear it around my neck and it is not that heavy to walk around with. My 15 year daughter loves it also.
I was lucky when I did pick this camera up. I had waited for a sale at Best Buy and wound up getting a whole kit for just a few dollars more.
