The good and the bads of my Nikon monarchs

Optics/Quality
I have had my monarchs for two years and i have put them to good use. I hunt a lot and i think that overall the glass is great,very clear and crisp. They let in a lot of light in the early mourning hours and late in the evenings. Not like the expensive Swaroskis or Leicas but they get the job done.

Size
They are nice and small and easy to carry. Most of the time a forget i even have them around my neck. This is one of the things i like the most about the monarchs.

Twisting eye caps
This is the only thing i don't like about the monarchs. You twist the eye pieces back to look threw them(unless you have glasses) mine held up for about six months. Then the metal balls inside began to call out. Until when i would twist them out to glass they would twist all the way off. I had to electrical tape them in the field a few times. I had to send them back to california to get them fixed. They did a good job they cleaned them and fixing them. Now 8 months later it happened again. I have to send them back in again.

Overall
Overall i like these binoculars a lot but the repairs that have to been done are the only bad thing about the nikon monarchs
