EXCELLENT CAMERA!

I bought the Coolpix L3 at Circuit City for $179 and am so happy with it! The batteries last for a very long time even when using the flash heavily! I must disagree with anything that anyone has said about the shutter lag on any setting (other than night.) If you actually read the manual and play with the scene settings, there is a sports setting where it captures instantly and if you hold the shutter down it will keep snapping pictures one after another and then you can pick the ones that are actually just the right shot that you're looking for (a plus also...is that even in a normal setting, you don't have to worry about it blurring because it's set for movement). Camera is VERY easy to use, though I do recommend reading the instruction book (I didn't at first!) you can find a lot of features that you won't know are there at first. But all in all I greatly suggest this camera it takes perfect shots, has a great megapixel count for if you're just doing normal size pictures...I don't plan on making posters anytime soon! :) One thing that I don't like is that a couple of the night settings don't use a flash and it doesn't pick up light as well as I think it could. However! If you set it on museum, it picks up more light and captures faster.
