Pros: size, ease of use, light-weight, and it just plain looks cool
Cons: can be looked at as being expensive for a camera
The Bottom Line: The Coolpix 5200 is a great digital camera. It is easy enough to use for beginners, and does just enough cool stuff for enthusiasts to love it as well.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Cameras are constantly going through innovations, and it has become clear that improvements will always be found. When looking for a camera it is not just the price that people look at, but brand names, and what that camera can do as compared to...

Pros: small, lightweight, sleek and sexy.
Cons: not enough control for my tastes
The Bottom Line: Great buy for your money. Enough control for the enthusiast but easy enough for a novice to figure out.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I wasn't planning on a new camera, at least not another compact. However, fate would have it another way. My previous digital camera, the Nikon Coolpix 880, was dropped by my lovely husband and the battery cover completely broken off. Of course, to...

Pros: Utra-compact, ultra-powerful!
Cons: Wish Nikon would have included the AC adapter.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a great point-and-shoot camera that you can take anywhere, this is it!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: While looking for a pocketable and powerful digital camera I tried out the Pentax 555, Optio, Sony T-1, Canon S500...and the Nikon 5200. And the 5200 simply takes the highest honors and my hard-earned cash--$410 from AMPhoto.com!

Pros: All round fantastic with cheap price.
Cons: nothing really, tho no sepia mode.
The Bottom Line: Great camera with tiny price for what its worth. Cant go wrong for ease of use, but with proffesionality of a serious jobby.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Combined with fantastic red eye reduction software [i dont think ive ever taken a shot with red eye yet], and ultra ease of use, this camera is perfect for almost everyone. With many different Modes to go into, you dont have to spend ages setting up...

Pros: Picture quality, design, metal body, and it's a Nikon!
Cons: None really.
The Bottom Line: This is a lot of camera for the money. It takes a great picture and built so well it should last as long as you want it to.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've had my Nikon Coolpix 5200 for about a month now and I'm still amazed with it. I'm not new to photography but this is my first digital camera. I researched various different brands for about 2 weeks that were around the same price and came to...

Pros: Intuitive controls (buttons themselves) Great quality pictures
Cons: Some menus are not intuitive
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this camera for beginners who wish to learn more or advanced users that prefer compactness.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Upon first picking up the camera, figuring out how to take a shot is not difficult. The size is perfect- small enough to fit in a purse or pocket, but not so small that it doesn't feel capable.

Pros: Excellent images, accurate focusing, quick on/off, small, excellent feel and quality, quiet zoom, SD card
Cons: Some settings are deep within menus, no control over/display of shutter speed/f-stop
The Bottom Line: This camera takes excellent digital images while being small and well designed. I find it useful enough to carry continuously, yet good enough to rely upon as my primary camera.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: After 1500 pictures, I have come to love this camera. It is small enough to be handy, yet its contour makes it easier to hold (for right handers) than many competitors. It is light enough to fit a shirt pocket, yet is durable with brushed metal case...

Pros: Size, Flash Strength, Readyness Speed, Workmanship, Ease of Use, Factory Warranty
Cons: Color results in AUTO, Bulky battery charger, NO AC adapter, No memory card included.
The Bottom Line: OK if you have the time to play with manual settings in order to get natural colors of your subjects. Great for the average point-n-shoot individual.

Review: After 2 1/2 years, my Olympus D510 (2MP) decided to give me the boot. Them extended warranties do come in handy. After spending nearly 3 hours looking at every compact camera Best Buys had on display, I was stuck between the Sony DSCP150 and the...
