Pros: Cool Design Excellent Quality Lots of neat functions
Cons: 16MB Card is way too small steep learning curve

Review: I did alot of research on this and decided to get this over the Canon G3. From the minute you pic this camera up it just feels right. I had previously purchase a coolpix 4300, and although I was happy with it, this camera if far superior.

Pros: Excellent build construction, good image quality, swivel design
Cons: don't drop it...
The Bottom Line: Typical NIKON quality, excellent pictures, but takes some patience and expertise to work the controls.

Review: I've had the Coolpix for about 2 months now. As time goes by more and more pictures are taken with this digital camera. My previous digital unit, a Kodak DC215 with less than 1 megapixel per image, hung in there for a long time, but this Nikon has...

Pros: Small. Well built. Great image quality. Very high quality in design and function.
Cons: Weak flash. Blown highlights.
The Bottom Line: This camera has done a great job for me. Easy to operate. Easy to hold. Easy to carry. Easy to get nice shots. Most of all... fun to use.

Review: Let me preface by saying I've not used most of this camera's capabilities and functions. While doing my research before purchasing this model, I of course learned the Coolpix 4500 had full aperture and shutter control among a myriad of other...

Cons: slow focus times. hard to focus in low light for average user.

Review: I've had the Coolpix 4500 for about a year now and I have to say it is definitely worth every penny. This is an upgraded version of the 900/990 series so if you familiar with Nikon you know the 4500 must be able to take amazing Macro shots. Trust me...

Pros: Excellent macro quality for 35mm slide copying. Relatively small size.
Cons: Proprietary battery type. Embedded features take some learning.
The Bottom Line: Usable for beginner but those willing to learn the full range of capabilities will be rewarded. My 4th and best digital camera yet.

Review: Years ago I worked for a Japanese company doing studio and technical photography, mostly with Nikon gear. More recently I have used Nikon Coolpix digital cameras for web and magazine publications. I have had the Coolpix 950 and 990 models but I am...

Pros: 4 Megapixel, Lightweight, versatile, rich colors, sharp lens, accessories, pro-sumer oriented, rechargeable Li-ion battery
Cons: New LCD is smaller, complex menu, auto-focus can be fooled under certain conditions.
The Bottom Line: Big improvement over 995. Perfect for the prosumer or sophisticated casual user. See my pics at: http://musings2001.tripod.com

Review: A former professional photographer, I own both the CoolPix 995 and now the CoolPix 4500. I have spent the past three days comparing the two and I have to say that while I didn't think it was possible, Nikon has managed to make an even better product...

Review: When Canon updated the Groundbreaking G1 from three to four megapixels last year everyone figured Nikon would follow suit with the CP 990?s update. The CP 995 incorporated several neat refinements but the three megapixel resolution didn?t change,...

Pros: There are way too many things that are good about this camera
Cons: Still an overall large camera with a so-so battery life.
The Bottom Line: The Canon G2... HAH. Nikon is back on track and ready to rock the 4 MegaPixel world and leave everyone else in the rubble!

Review: Anyone who has read a handful of my reviews will know that I'm a gadget freak... so even though I have a good collection of fairly recent digital cameras in the house (Nikon Coolpix 995, Coolpix 5000, Canon Powershot S40, and Canon Powershot S330)...
